Well I figured I’d better get this started and learn how to use it since I will be leaving in less than a week yikes! I have never blogged before so this is a whole new process for me but I am looking forward to exploring the way it works.
I am actually pretty excited and nervous, I am finishing up my last week of student teaching here in the states and then it’s off to Indonesia! Who’d have ever guessed I’d end up half way around the world before my college years were over? Certainly not me, but I am looking forward to the opportunity and challenge it poses. I know I will be sad to leave all of the students I have gotten to know here, but I know I will get to know more students over there. Since the days are counting down it feels like I don’t have enough time to get everything accomplished that I need to before I head out. One thing is for sure though, by roughly this time in two weeks I will be getting settled in and finding my bearings in a whole new place!
